Blame the people,

not the Gods.
People around me and/or on the social media networks are slamming each others' religions and places of worship, but I feel that they are missing the point.
All Gods, regardless of religion, have universal teachings.
They all teach us to be good in general. At least as far as I believe.
People are the ones who have the control to twist words, impart wrong teachings, and make bad decisions. Supposedly good people can also make horrible decisions. They are at fault. Their religion isn't.

I never believed having faith is a bad thing, just that one should not be over-reliant on it.
(Or force non-believers to convert by preaching non-freaking-stop. There should be mutual respect, understanding and tolerance.)
Hard work and making an effort always comes first. Difficulties and obstacles are a test of your mental and physical strength. No amount of praying is going to solve anything, if you do not at least attempt to overcome them on your own first. (Except for the supernatural...) And praying for all your desires, a windfall, etc, makes you a greedy bugger. Your life is in your own hands, 90% of the time. Leave 10% up to God, Fate and Luck. They aren't so free to be at your beck and call for any ol' problem that may arise.

People should start practising religious tolerance.
