Talk about being unfortunately-lucky.
A part of my house caught fire today,
and i was soundly sleeping nonetheless.
I'm still partially traumatized,
considering that it happened just about 3 hours ago.
Anyhoos, thank goats that in the midst of me panicking,
i managed to grab a few pails and put the fire out.
Hell, i actually trembled like a freezing goldfish when i opened my room door and
saw that my whole house was engulfed in thick black smoke.
The worst thing was that the windows were all closed,
and the smoke didnt even go into my room or outside
because there isnt any gap at the top of the doors.
So i couldn't smell anything nor could the neighbours or anyone know about it.
If i had decided to sleep for another hour,
the altar (place where the fire started) would've completely burnt
a hole into the cabinet below with all the lighters,incense papers/sticks and oil.
It wouldnt have been a pretty explosion. D;
SO THANK YOU GOATS MUACKZMUACKXzx for that close shave with death.
Just about tells everyone that
YOU MUST CHECK YOUR HOUSE FOR FIRE HAZARDS,
& TURN OFF SWITCHES.
If there's a huuuuuge fire, you must crawl outta your house with a
wet cloth over your mouth and get down as low as possible on the floor
to exit. Call your neighbours/firemen asap.
(LOL@HKdramas) Grab your phone if possible too.
If it's a small one, find the nearest fire extinguisher and/or pails of water.
Get help if needed.
OH, and this is to QUEK (if he still reads that is):
make sure you check your house for fire hazards
especially since you have a little sister and
and there's a possibility that she'll be left home alone
(even for a short period of time).

So yes, that's practically all i have to touch on that topic.
and P/S. God, i would rather die drowning & bloating up
than being burnt in a huge fire and/or explosion. kaythx.
Now on to another topic.
I've had it with false pretences.
Let me sum it up in the simplest words.
I, Adabelle Tan Li Jie, DO NOT need 'friends'
who pretend to be who they're not,
act as if they like me - & when they're with other people, they talk bad about me,
try to gain something from me or always ask for favors,
(although i dont know what they can possibly gain)
or unreasonably spout vulgarities at me for no apparent reason.
The list goes on, but to make it short.
In my most sincere honesty, I DESPISE PEOPLE LIKE YOU GUYS.
I don't need 'friends' like all of you.
Friends are people who you may not see or talk to everyday,
but nevertheless, can trust and show your true nature to under any circumstances.
They are people who enjoy your company and you, enjoy theirs.
You are comfortable with them, you can speak your mind to them.
You may not understand them 100% but you put in the effort to know
as much as you can and help whenever needed.
For all i know, in this world, i only have Bob as my true friend.
Everyone else, in Kennoob's words, can F.O.A.D.
Go figure.
And no, i may not be talking about you.
DONT BE SO SENSITIVE LAAAHHHH.
Those that are guilty of such acts will now know how much i hate them.

and no, i'm not going to cry a river of precious blood and tears for these lost 'friendships'.
because from the start of it all, i never trusted any of you. (:
Without trust or expectations, there seldom are disappointments. :D
oh and what can i say about these days?
it's just an endless cycle of assignments, class exercises & projects.
torturous at times, but somehow fun too.
everything's due next week.
i hope i can submit all the last assignments on time.
& deal with the upcoming studio project & portfolio creations. .__.
